I was absolutely delighted to get an invitation from fabulous Accessories Designer Nadia Minkoff to the Nico Didonna catwalk show at London Fashion Week! I love Nadia's work & I was dying to see how she would accessorise the show.
The venue was the opulant Baku Restaurant & Bar in London's Knightsbridge and it was full of the most beautiful, glamorous people I have ever seen! As expected from this Designer to the stars, Nico Didonna's show, both womenswear and menswear, was quite simply fabulous. His inspiration was 'the essence of freedom through modern jazz music' & to a fitting soundtrack from the likes of Michael Bublé, we were all transfixed by the glamorous, stylish show. Nadia's accessories were a real highlight; sophisticated glamour at it's very best, featuring statement earrings, long bejewelled necklaces cascading down the bare backs of the models & her gorgeous signature clutch bags.
Alongside Nancy Dell'Olio, Nicola McLean, London Socialite Basia Briggs & the fantastical Pandemonia Panacea (the 7ft tall conceptual artist) we sipped vintage wine at the after-party & enjoyed a live performance from US singer Kady Z! It was a delight to meet lovely Nadia & such a treat to be there on her special night!
For such a glamorous occasion, I wanted to wear something cool, stylish and effortless; I chose a beautiful Armani Exchange faux leather shift dress. Featuring a scoop neckline, an exposed back zipper, a sheer back and pleating to the back, it was the perfect canvas to showcase one of my favourite Nadia Minkoff pieces, her iconic London Eye necklace. I finished my look with towering black shoe boots, a smoky eye & a big smile!

This stunning silk, swan print dress by Mint Velvet immediately caught my eye in my local House of Fraser store; there was something so romantic and beautiful about the gracefully intertwined necks of the swans.
The gorgeous 'Jade' dress is the perfect day-to-night piece; it can be dressed down with opaque tights and shoe boots or easily dressed up with statement heels & bright red lipstick. A loose, easy to wear shape, the dress features a mirrored swan print front in luxurious silk, black sheer shoulders, 3/4 length sheer sleeves, side pockets & a plain jersey back.
For a cool, laidback look I styled the dress with my much loved & much worn Christian Louboutin 'Ces Moi' shoe boots & my favourite red NARS lipstick!

Natalie B Coleman is one of my favourite designers; she creates pieces that are feminine, flirty, absolutely unique & so freakin' cool! This skirt, from her AW12 'All The Jewellery I Never Got' collection, is nothing short of a work of art. It was a Christmas present from my lovely Husband & to say I was delighted with it would be a huge understatement!
A classic column shape, the skirt features an all over, intricate pleat, a high waistband, zip detailing to the back and exquisite hand drawn & water coloured jewellery digitally printed all over. The contrast lining is knee length in dark navy. It adds a subtle sexiness to the piece as your legs can be seen flashing through the semi-sheer white as you walk.
I styled the skirt with a very simple fine knit sweater, a cheap as chips find that goes with absolutely everything and is perfect for keeping out the Winter chill! I finished the look by adding towering Topshop shoeboots and a bright red lipstick.

This dress is one of the most beautiful dresses the Winter Kate brand have ever produced. I'd had my eye on it for months after seeing it's Designer, Nicole Richie, wearing it at a Lionel Richie gig. He's her Dad by the way!
I knew I wanted it & I knew exactly when and where I would first wear it; a Christmas party... in February! I kid you not. We went to the Do on Saturday night. It was held at the superbly glamorous Alexander House Hotel & Spa in Sussex and honestly, everyone should have a second Christmas in February!
The Winter Kate Ink Rose maxi dress is a deliciously dramatic piece. Cut in a figure flattering 1970s style, it is 100% silk & features a fitted waist, a sexy v-neckline with buttons to the front and stylish 3/4 length sleeves. The bold yellow colour with dramatic black rose & leaf print gives a seriously vintage feel to the dress and guarantees that the wearer will always stand out!
I wore it with black Christian Louboutin peep-toe shoes and some tonal gold accessories. I toyed with the idea of a red lip but in the end I went for a much more neutral pink lipstick from Bobbi Brown. In fact I kept all my make-up soft and subtle with just a hint of sparkle; nothing should distract from this amazing dress!
