Shark Attack

I love Kymerah and this impossibly cool t-shirt is one of my favourite pieces from their stunning S/S14 collection. A great tee is so hard to find but this one is just perfection! Slouchy without being baggy, a great lightweight style without being see-through and it is the perfect length, not too long, not too short. The shark motif gives it the cool factor and the great grey colour goes with everything. Everyone who has seen me wear this t-shirt wants one; women and men!

I first wore my new tee to one of my now regular Sushi nights with my Husband; pairing it with a great pair of Boyfriend style jeans, the most fabulous pair of Christian Louboutin shoes (check out the stud detail!) and my trusty black satchel from the Cambridge Satchel Co.

Spring is finally in the air in dear ol' Blighty so I am cautiously ditching heavy coats for lighter jackets and blazers. The 'Zora' blazer from Savannah features an open front, a lightweight lining, two pockets to the front and jetted pocket on the inside. It is a loose fitting boyfriend style, a great layering piece for a sharp tailored look.

Thoroughly Modern Military

The military trend is everywhere for AW12. In fact, military/utility has been a reoccurring trend for many seasons now and for me, it offers a cool alternative to to the more delicate, feminine pieces I usually wear.

This denim military style coat is an oldie but goodie that I recently rediscovered in the darkest recesses of my wardrobe. Vintage Karen Millen, what a find! I love it's sharp, structured silhouette & the cool, vintage look of the faded denim. The straight cut coat features a stand up collar, a button down front, flapped front pockets and buttoned shoulder epaulets that add the most military of accents.

I styled the coat with gorgeous Isabel Marant jeans, a simple black silk top by Kymerah (one of my favourite brands!) and black suede desert boots. I think I'll be rocking this comfy, stylish look a lot this season!

Era by Kymerah

Regular readers on here will know how very much I love US fashion brand Kymerah, "a sophisticated women's line created with the concepts of style, luxury and simplicity". Well you can only imagine my delight when I heard they were designing a diffusion range exclusively for urbanoutfitters.com

As soon as I saw the collection I fell in love with this gorgeous LWD (little white dress). It was everything I have come to expect from Kymerah but at a fraction of their usual prices. I had to have it!

This beautifully fitted piece in a 'suits all skin tones' shade of ivory features a wide scoop neckline with a sexy cutout detail just above the chest, an open back with two exposed zips (forgive the dreadful photo of the back of the dress, my poor old camera is dying!). It is fully lined & machine washable and is the perfect mini length, even on a shorty like me!

I styled the dress with my favourite NARS red lipstick and the most AMAZING red patent leather, multi-strap Chanel shoes. These shoes never fail to cause a stir when I wear them out; can you see the fantastic gold quilted wedge detail on the heels? Classic Chanel!

When my dress arrived I loved it so much, I logged straight back onto urbanoutfitters.com to buy another Era by Kymerah piece that I loved, a long white sheer panelled maxi dress, but it was sold out; dammit! If you fancy a beautiful, affordable piece of Kymerah, log onto that website right now; the remaining pieces are all on sale so grab yourself a very special bargain!

Anya

The 'Anya' silk vest top with its unusual tail detail and self adjusting zip-up back is one of my favourite pieces from Kymerah's stunning S/S12 collection. My heart literally skipped a beat when it arrived (thank you so much Kymerah!!) & I simply couldn't wait to wear it!

This incredibly versatile top can be worn in so many different ways; loose & flowing as I've worn it here, for a carefree, comfortable look or tucked in for a smarter, more tailored look. The tails can be tied at the back for a funky, fitted look and the zip at the back can be opened as far up as you dare for an effortlessly sexy look!

For a romantic night out I paired the top with tailored, high waisted shorts in sky blue from Reiss and the most delicate, feminine, Swarovski crystal encrusted t-bar sandals in soft metallic leather by GinaAccessories were kept very simple with a Reiss colour block box clutch, in blues to compliment the blue shorts, and my Michael Kors gold watch.

I cheated on MAC and swapped my usual matte red lipstick for a brighter, creamier one; 'Heat Wave' by NARS, my new favourite. You must try it, it is absolutely gorgeous!

Back In Black

In true British Summer style, the weather here in dear ol' Blighty has taken quite a turn for the worse! The shorts & flip flops have been discarded and coats & jackets hastily retrieved from storage.

We went out for dinner the other night & the Summer sky was heavy with dark threatening clouds; it felt right to wear an all black ensemble. I wore my favourite Kymerah silk top with Sass & Bide ruched leggings and towering Topshop shoe boots.

To keep out the Summer chill I added a dramatic black hooded cape. This gorgeous black knit cape by Kymerah features leather detail pockets and a fantastic zipper hoodie. I feel like a cool, modern day Red Riding Hood every time I wear it!

Déjà Vu

I know I know, I have only just blogged about these Isabel Marant jeans but they are totally amazing & therefor worthy of a second post! I wore them out the night after my birthday & thought you might like to see how they looked with a different top.

I bought this gorgeous Kymerah silk top when I was in New York last September & it has become one of my most worn tops ever as it literally goes with everything. It has 3/4 length sleeves, a sexy chiffon panel at the back and is a little shorter at the front due to it's flattering dolman shape. The top can be dressed up, dressed down and can even be chucked into the washing machine and worn time & time again without having to go near an iron!

The black leather belt is by Twenty8twelve. I bought it such a long time ago & I wear it all the time. T8T do the best belts, this one looked vintage from the off and just gets better with age.

The red lipstick I'm wearing is a new one by MAC. It's from their 'Hey, Sailor!' limited edition collection and is 'inspired by the glam of vintage pin-up girls'. It is a satin, creamy lipstick so quite different from the matte reds I usually wear and I adore it!
