So Sue Me

Isn't this dress just fabulous? It's another great piece by one of my favourite Designers, Emma Manley.

This is the 'Sue' dress, an unexpected soft/hard mix of jersey and leather; the creamy coloured vest top is a light, stretchy jersey material and the attached skirt is the softest, palest blue leather with silver rivets all over. An incredibly full twirly skirt, it is the epitome of cool!

I styled the dress with Karen Millen ankle boots, some of my favourite silver baubles from Tiffany & Co and a very pared down make up. I then proceeded to swirl & twirl my way through this Blog shoot, much to my Husband's amusement!

Eastenders

After some recent fantastic purchases from UK based brand Antipodium (blogged here and here), I have been absolutely obsessed with their cool, modern, laid back designs. My most recent purchase is the achingly cool 'Greenwood' dress. 

This cute girly dress features a deep v-neck, contrast semi-sheer back & sleeves, an elasticated waist & a flirty, swingy skirt. Taking her inspiration from the streets of London, print designer Chloe Constantindi's exclusive 'Eastenders' print for the Brands A/W12 collection, shows the River Thames snaking it's way through one of the most vibrant Cities in the world; an iconic image we all see in the opening titles of 'Eastenders' the TV programme.

I styled the dress with a very neutral pair of nude shoes, my go to Tiffany trinkets & off I went to meet friends for coffee! I was singing the Eastenders theme tune for the rest of the day; you just can't help yourself, duff duff duff!

Casey

I'm still buying pieces from Twenty8twelve's fabulous AW12 collection; it is the collection that just keeps on giving! My latest purchase is the stunning 'Casey' dress.

Featuring a bold floral print against a bright green background, Casey is a vision to behold! Princess seams on the body of the dress highlight womanly curves beautifully while an uneven, high/low hem adds a very flirty feel to an otherwise ladylike silhouette. The demure round neck and 3/4 length sleeves add to the ladylike vibe.

This the easiest dress in the world to style; the vivid colour & floral pattern do all the work so I simply added a pair of black Christian Louboutin peep-toe shoes & my ever present delicate silver jewellery from Tiffany & Co.

Chalmont

This stunning lace and twill playsuit from Twenty8twelve is my perfect choice for a glamorous night out. This stylish piece features a lace body, a separate black silk camisole, fully lined shorts with pockets, a round neckline and a sexy open back. 

I wore it for date night with my Husband last night and paired it with fabulous Miu Miu python-effect shoes in turquoise for a vibrant pop of colour. The jewellery is my usual collection of much loved Tiffany trinkets.

I actually think this is one of my all time favourite outfits. It ticks all the right boxes for me; a shorts playsuit, black, lace, statement shoes in a great colour. Literally all of my favourite fashion things in one easy to wear look. Hubby liked it too!

Amazing Grace

One of the world's most talented Designers, Stella McCartney is renowned & adored for her ultra feminine, easy to wear tailoring that is mixed up with a very rock & roll edge. I had always wanted something... anything... from one of her incredible collections so I saved and saved and saved and waited for the perfect piece to treat myself too!

I found that special piece in her A/W10 collection when one particularly beautiful dress really stood out for me; 'Grace’ a simple, stunning dress I knew I would wear time after time for years to come; a real investment buy.

The most perfect LBD, Grace is practical, timeless & exudes effortless chic. Made in a heavy, luxurious satin and cut for a boxy fit, it features one sleeveless shoulder, an asymmetrical neckline & a short, leg flattering length.
