Shark Attack

I love Kymerah and this impossibly cool t-shirt is one of my favourite pieces from their stunning S/S14 collection. A great tee is so hard to find but this one is just perfection! Slouchy without being baggy, a great lightweight style without being see-through and it is the perfect length, not too long, not too short. The shark motif gives it the cool factor and the great grey colour goes with everything. Everyone who has seen me wear this t-shirt wants one; women and men!

I first wore my new tee to one of my now regular Sushi nights with my Husband; pairing it with a great pair of Boyfriend style jeans, the most fabulous pair of Christian Louboutin shoes (check out the stud detail!) and my trusty black satchel from the Cambridge Satchel Co.

Spring is finally in the air in dear ol' Blighty so I am cautiously ditching heavy coats for lighter jackets and blazers. The 'Zora' blazer from Savannah features an open front, a lightweight lining, two pockets to the front and jetted pocket on the inside. It is a loose fitting boyfriend style, a great layering piece for a sharp tailored look.

Plain Sailing

Savannah Miller's S/S13 collection was inspired by the cult 1969 movie 'More' by Barbette Shroeder. Full of wonderful, easy to wear pieces such as 1970s high-waisted jeans, pretty Summer dresses, sexy cut-out swimwear, colourful kaftans and cork wedges in bright Summery hues, it is a fresh, modern, bohemian collection with a cool, rock & roll edge.

I fell in love with this sweet sailor dress as soon as I spied it in the Lookbook; made of 100% cotton it features 3/4 length sleeves, a cute sailor collar that ties at the neck, button fastening at the back and on the cuffs, pleats in the skirt and it comes in a pretty shade of denim blue.

I styled it with great peep-toe shoe boots from See by Chloe; they add a harder, funkier edge to an otherwise sweet, girlie look. We did the photoshoot for this blog post in the most vicious of winds; I'm genuinely surprised we had a single useable photo as the wind literally tried to undress me & blow my pretty dress into the next County!

Here Comes The Sun

Dear ol' Blighty has been teasing us with some Summery weather, just the odd day here and there but it has been enough to inspire me to buy some bright, sunshiny, Summery clothes; and they don't come brighter or more sunshiny than the aptly named 'Summer' dress by Savannah.

Made of 100% cotton, in a fantastically dramatic mustard/yellow colour, 'Summer' features a cool scalloped edge at the neck and hem and a gathered waist with a flared, girly skirt. It has a hidden zip at the side and three buttons on the shoulder.

Styled with gorgeous Miu Miu shoes in a wonderful contrasting turquoise colour, a feather clutch from ASOS and delicate gold/silver accessories from Alex Monroe, this is the perfect Summer date night dress!

Waltzing Matilda

'Matilda' is a cool, bohemian style embroidered duffel coat from Savannah Miller's first ever solo collection. I've blogged about her Savannah brand before (see here) and my love affair with her super cool, contemporary designs, is showing no signs of abating!

The Matilda coat is gorgeous & has already been style spotted on British actress and style icon Anna Friel! It is fully lined & features large buttons to the front, a cute hood, two buttoned front pockets and intricate colourful embroidery detail on the front, hem, hood & cuffs.

On a cold, blustery day out, I styled it with J Brand skinny jeans, a simple black tee & Karen Millen suede ankle boots for a warm, comfy, laid back look!

Dante

Savannah is the much anticipated solo collection from Savannah Miller; her first since she and her sister Sienna moved on from their super successful brand Twenty8twelve. I have long been a fan of Savannah's work & I was beside myself with excitement when I heard about her new collection; it did not disappoint!

Savannah describes her collection as individual, wearable and affordable. It features wardrobe essentials such as skinny jeans, super soft t-shirts, chunky knit sweaters, shoes (yes shoes!) and beautiful, must-have party dresses.  The collection is so affordable with prices ranging from £19.95 for belts to under £200 for fantastic winter coats!

The first piece I ordered was the stunning, silky 'Dante' dress. Effortlessly chic, the dress features a wrap front, side zip, gorgeous girlie ruffle detailing to front & rear and it comes in the most flattering 'antique blush' colour. It's hard to believe it only cost £62.95; it looks and feels so expensive and luxurious!

I styled the dress with gold accessories; a treasured, vintage charm bracelet that belonged to my late Mum, my cute Bumble Bee necklace by Alex Munroe and fabulous gold studded, cream Christian Louboutin Mary Jane shoes.
